Biography -

           Jan Miller is in her 24th year at TSA teaching third grade.  She taught prior to TSA at Gordon-Ivey Independent School.  In 2006 she received her GISA Distinguished Service Award for 25 years in private education. 

          Jan is the widow of the late Steve Miller.  Both of her daughters, Bethany and Jennifer, attended Tattnall from K-4 thru 12th grade.  Entrusting the education of her daughters to TSA and working in the same environment were wonderful experiences.   "Tattnall is our extended family.  We have grown up in this great place!"  

          In her spare time, Jan enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and looking for "treasures" at yard sales and thrift stores.  She is a member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church.
